The Final Shortlist for the DRL Ten Pavilion Competition
From the original list of 28 entries that qualified for consideration for the competition judging, DRL staff narrowed the list down to three finalists. The announcement of a winning scheme that will be erected next February in Bedford Square will be made this weekend at AADRL.net
DRL Pavilion 10 Competition Jury
AADRL Staff downstairs in the AA Dining Room during Friday afternoon’s competition judging for the ‘AADRLTenPointZero’ Pavilion project, an advanced technology concrete structure that will be erected in Bedford Square in February, 2008 as part of the ‘AATen’ Exhibition, Publication and other events. The judges reveiwed submissions by more than fifty DRL graduates who have completed the programme in the past ten years.
Paul Elliman AA Lecture Poster
Poster for Paul Elliman’s lecture ‘Voices Falling Through The Air’, tonight at 6.30pm in the AA Lecture Hall, as part of a series of talks and seminars relating to the Forms of Inquiry exhibition. Elliman will talk about voice, language and technology as forms of audio signage, and the use of recorded and programmed announcements for both public and private space as a kind of typography of the air.
